DESCRIPTION
The GM RAILING® LEVEL U design is conceived for applications in which the fastening unit for the glass railing is recessed in the floor surface in concrete. Only the respective floor and the protruding glass itself can be seen.
Connection of the glass railing system:
The anti-drop glazing protrudes from a groove in the floor. This is achieved by a special formwork profile, which must be mounted before concreting. The constructive "inner life" is introduced only after the formwork profile has been removed. In the U series, the profile is removed from the concrete after the curing process. This process provides a clear geometry for glass mounting.
Two-step assembly:
GM GLASS RAILINGS are characterised by easy, fast installation. The glass modules for all systems are prefabricated in the factory. They are assembled on the construction site on a substructure adapted to the system – always according to the simple principle of «hook in and fix». The system components developed for the practitioner always allow an effective and high-quality installation, regardless of the system chosen by the client (bent, integrated into the floor structure or with a decidedly aesthetic glass front).
Construction:
The glass modules are prefabricated in the factory. This ensures high-quality glass support and avoids impermissible stress peaks. Especially the unique degree of prefabrication of GM RAILING® glass railings is the best prerequisite for efficient, cost-optimised planning processes and on-time, high-quality results.
