GM RAILING® DOUBLE

GM RAILING® DOUBLE is a very slender glass railing system with uniform, stress-free glass support – in combination with a compact U-channel.

Due to the full-surface bonding and the interlocking of the U-channel and glass module on both sides, the overall system is exceptionally stable. The force arising in case of loading is diverted into the substrate via both profile anchors, making the system twice as resilient.

The glass railing system is perfectly protected against moisture: Due to the full-surface bonding of glass and U-channel, water cannot penetrate at all. Sealing levels, foils and sheet metal can be optimally attached. A deflection profile optionally creates a second sealing level.

GM RAILING® DOUBLE laminated safety glass is manufactured with the highly transparent PVB intermediate layer Trosifol® UltraClear from Kuraray: As a customer, you benefit from very high edge stability and the lowest yellow value index (< 0.4) on the market with verified salt water spray test (results according to TÜV-Süd laboratory test in accordance with ASTM B117). Sustainability, durability and brilliant colour fastness, especially in combination with float glass extra-white, are assured.

Connection of the glass railing system:

GM RAILING® DOUBLE is optimised for the connection of external facade claddings. Facade metal sheeting including joint connector sheeting, HPL facade panels, plasterboard panels and many more can be easily integrated. The glass modules can even be suspended once the facade cladding has been fitted.

Two-step assembly:

The robust, prefabricated glass modules are simply and infinitely adjustable. The GM RAILING® DOUBLE glass railing system is designed for installation situations where the construction is no longer accessible from the side. The slim U-channel (80 x 100 mm) can be fastened to a supporting structure both from the top and from the side.

Construction:

The glass modules are prefabricated in the factory. This ensures high-quality glass support and avoids impermissible stress peaks. Especially the unique degree of prefabrication of GM RAILING® glass railings is the best prerequisite for efficient, cost-optimised planning processes and on-time, high-quality results.
