What is special about GM TSG SECURMART®?
The Glas Marte toughened safety glass from our own production offers increased shock and impact strength as well as increased temperature change resistance (EN 12150). In the case of thermal or mechanical overload, a TSG pane breaks into small crumbly blunt-edged fragments, which significantly reduces the risk of injury compared to normal flat glass.

What is special about GM TSG-H SECURMART®?
GM TSG-H SECURMART® is a toughened safety glass that undergoes a so-called heat-soak test at Glas Marte. The idea behind this is to largely avoid a spontaneous breakage in the installed state: Due to unavoidable nickel sulphide inclusions in a glass pane, the volume of the nickel sulphides is increased by increasing the temperature. This can disturb the internal stress balance of the TSG pane. This stress change is the cause of a spontaneous breakage. A heat-soak test reduces this possibility many times over and is therefore recommended in any application, but not generally included in the scope of delivery.
