Description
GM TSG COLORMART® is a thermally prestressed toughened safety glass according to EN 14179, which is coated with a layer of ceramic paint (enamel) using a roller printing process. This enamel layer is applied in various ways to the full or partial basic glass surface. At more than 600 °C, the paint is baked into the glass and thus firmly bonded to the glass. This makes the enamel largely abrasion-resistant, solvent-resistant, UV-resistant and light-fast. The view is generally from the non-coated side. This influences the colouring by the glass's own colour. Ceramic paints are glass-like layers that cannot be mechanically removed in the melting bond with glass without damaging the glass itself. The roller printing achieves a homogeneous colour distribution.
