Description
Colourful laminated safety glass creates striking colour highlights both indoors and outdoors: GM LSG LAMIMART® COLOR is used monolithically as a double or multi-glazed element or in an insulating glass laminate. Glass types and colour foils with the same or different properties can be combined. This makes it possible to produce LSG with a wide range of functions such as sound insulation, thermal insulation or sun protection. In addition, differently coloured foils and glass with digital or screen printing can be combined. This results in countless individual design possibilities.
Manufacture:
GM LSG LAMIMART® COLOR consists of at least two glass panes that are firmly connected with coloured foils to form a unit. These are tough elastic, high-tear-resistant foils, mostly made of polyvinyl butyral (PVB). The glass panes are heated with the intermediate coloured foil in the pre-laminate by infrared radiators and pressed together by means of a roller press. In the autoclave, a permanent laminate of glass and coloured foil is then created under heat and pressure. Several panes of the same or different glass types and thicknesses can be combined, so that the advantages of different glasses can be combined in the laminate.
GM LSG LAMIMART® COLOR is ideal for:
- Overhead glazing
- Facades
- Partition walls
- Walkable, trafficable and tread-on glazing
- Anti drop devices
- Insulating glass
- Security glazing
- Lift shaft barriers
