Description
What is special about GM LSG LAMIMART®?
GM LSG LAMIMART® is used in safety-relevant places both indoors and outdoors: monolithic as a double-glazed or multi-glazed element or in insulating laminated glass. By combining glass and foil with the same or different properties, LSG can be produced with a wide range of functions such as sound insulation, heat or sun protection. There is also a wealth of design options due to combinations with coloured foils and digital or screen printing.
Manufacture:
GM LSG LAMIMART® consists of at least two glass panes that are firmly connected with foils to form a single unit. These are tough elastic, high-tear-resistant foils, mostly made of polyvinyl butyral (PVB). The glass panes are heated with the intermediate foil in the pre-laminate by infrared radiators and pressed together by means of a roller press. In the autoclave, a permanent laminate of glass and foil is then created under heat and pressure. Several panes of the same or different glass types and thicknesses can be combined, so that the advantages of different glasses can be combined in the laminate.
GM LSG LAMIMART® is ideal for:
- Overhead glazing
- Facades
- Partition walls
- Walkable, trafficable and tread-on glazing
- Anti drop devices
- Insulating glass
- Security glazing
- Lift shaft barriers
