GM TVG SECURMART®

ANNEALED GLASS

GM TVG SECURMART® is heat-strengthened annealed glass according to EN 1863 and ABZ Z-70.4-107.

SKU: GMTVG Category:

Description

HIGH RESISTANCE

GM TVG SECURMART® Annealed single-pane safety glass is subjected to a thermal tempering process like all single-pane safety glass. The cooling process, however, takes place more slowly. This results in lower tension differences between the glass core and the surfaces. The flexural strength lies between that of normally cooled glass and toughened safety glass. In the event of breaking, cracks are generated which extend radially from the center of the fracture to the edges of the sheets, similar to the breakage of normally cooled glass. Like ESG and ESG-H, annealed glass can not be processed after production. Due to its breaking properties, annealed glass is not safety glass!

IDEALLY SUITED FOR:

  • further processing into laminated safety glass
  • wherever flexural strength and / or temperature resistance of normally cooled glass is insufficient, but the use of toughened safety glass is not necessary or sensible.

Product Advantages

SPECIAL BENEFITS GM TVG SECURMART®

In the GM VSG LAMIMART® compound, the glass largely retains its function in case of destruction. Result: improved residual stability and residual load capacity. The following positive properties add up:

  • Glass with high flexural strength
  • high resistance to temperature differences
