Description
Enamelling with Glass Ceramic Paints – Aesthetics, Protection and Safety
The enamel layer can be fully or partially applied to the flat glass surface in various ways and is baked at more than 600 ° C to firmly connect it with the glass. This makes the enameling largely abrasion-resistant, solvent-resistant, UV-resistant and lightfast. The glass is generally viewed from the uncoated side, as a result of which the coloring is influenced by the inherent color of the glass. Ceramic colors are glassy layers that are mechanically non-removable after bonding, without damaging the glass itself. Roller printing assures a homogeneous color distribution.
